Diana Littlewood
Following a very successful early life within the Poole music scene, as co-principal violinist with the Wessex Youth Orchestra and Principal of the Poole Schools Orchestra Diana joined the Wessex String Quartet with very little chamber music experience, however quickly adapted very well and enjoyed the delights the quartet repertoire brings.
After performing the Bruch Violin Concerto at the Poole & Parkstone Grammar Concerto Concert Diana left to study music at Lancaster University where, three years later she was delighted to be awarded the University Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra, Following a “dazzling” performance and gaining a first class honours degree in music she moved to study for a postgrad at the Birmingham Conservatoire.

It was in Birmingham where Diana met her fiance and is due to marry early in 2010, the quartet will be playing for her wedding and can’t wait!
