Bournemouth Music Festival
The Wessex String quartet were awarded the GLI AMICI DELLA MUSICA cup for most outstanding performance throughout the Bournemouth Music Festival. They were also awarded the B.M.C.F. St. Cecilia Cup for best string quartet.
These were awarded after the quartet came first in their class where they performed the first movement of Schuberts “Death and the Maiden” quartet
